Two French 'Planes Fail to
Return

The question of French nonintervention in the Spanish civil war was raised in the Chamber of -Deputies when the Minister of Air, 1 ' Pierre Coty, was questioned as to lether permission hail been given to an aircraft company to deliver planes to the Spanish Government and if the Spanish Government requisitioned four French 'planes sent to repatriate Frenchmen. The Minister replied that the first itlioit was false but two 'planes which had been evacuating Frenchmen had not returned. It is reported that the British replv ! to the French Note regarding noii- ; interference in Spain's civil war has! caused satisfaction in France.
