INSTRUMENTAL CIRCLE MEETS.
A social evening was held by the vocal and instrumental circle of the Society of Musicians on Friday evening. ■ Mr. Webber welcomed the guests and presented to winners of various competitions appropriate gifts. "Mystery Titles," organised by Miss Wright and won by Miss Sexton and Mr. Webber, caused much amusement. Setting a verse to music in ten minutes produced a variety of efforts, some verging on operatic style. The winners were Miss Haresnape and Miss Murphy.
