SCOTTISH WOMEN'S CIRCLE.
The usual fortnightly meeting of the Y.W.C.A. Scottish Women's Club was held last night in the Assembly Hall. Mrs. Helen Griffiths presided over a large gathering of members and friends. An address was given by Dr. Gladys Montgomery on travels in Scotland. Musical and elocutionary items were given as follows: —Pianoforte duets, Miss Lillian Braithwaite and Miss Lillian Allen; recitations, Miss Peggy McLaughlin; song, Miss Braithwaite. The accompanist was Miss Allen. Hostesses were Mrs. Hugh Cumming, Mrs. Norman Cumming and Miss Muir.
