MOUNT ROSKILL TENNIS
A delightful bridge afternoon was given by Mrs.-Millar, wife of the president of the Mount Roskill Tennis Club, at ■! the pavilion on Monday afternoon. The prizes were won by Mrs. H. C. Clarke (highest score), Mrs. H. E. Carey (hidden number) and Mrs. Crow (consolation prize) and were presented by Mr. Millar. Elocutionary items were given by Mrs. A. Allen and an amusing competition was won by Mrs. Stevens. Among those present were: Mesdames Perry, C. H. Hayliow, J. Ry?in, W. Ryan, J. McCraig, H. E. Carey, H. C. Clarke, F. C. Paull, Knox, . Skipworth, Halloy, Joase, S. Rabone, Hurley, Graham, J. Collins, Cameron, Bourke, Griffin, Dell, Quinlivan, A. Sadgrove, Tugby, A. •Roberts, Ewen, Leadbeater, Stevens, C. Robinson, Rattray, Coyle, W. Reid, H. McMillan, T. S. Roe, Kirkup, "Campbell, Croir, Creeks, Thomas, H. Eliffe, Nicholson, A. M. Rowe, W. Bell, and the Misses Cathie and Paque.
