MILFORD TENNIS CLUB.
An enjoyable bridge evening organised by Mrs! Norman Howe was held at the Cottage Shoppe on Wednesday evening. The guests were received by Captain V. R. L. Heywood, M.C., and Mrs. Heywood.
Among .those present were: Mesdames Newson, Wright, L. T. Minogue, E. Teed, R; Mand'er, O. Lyell, Barraclough, Sherriff arid Misses. Settle, Carr, M. Stonehouse, H. Kell, B. Newson, N. Clarke and G. Howe.
The prizes, which were kindly donated by Messrs. A. Burton and C. P. Hopkins, were won by Miss Gwenyth HoweMessrs. Hailing and Teed, and presented by Mrs. Heywood.
