WENDY ANNOUNCES SIXTEEN MORE LEADERS.
Twenty-eight registered clubs have, in previous issues of the Budget, been allotted club captains. To-day Wendy announces the names of the following leaders, who have either been chosen or approved at Sunbeam Headquarters:— Goodwill Club (Ponsonby).—Jessie Laing, 20, Renall Street. Rainbow Club (Mount Eden). — June Johnston, 8, Pentland Avenue, Mount Eden. Priscilla Club (Devonport). — Lois Bridaon, 12, St. Aubyn Street, Devonport.
Patchwork Club (outpost).—Joyce Smith, Turongo Street, Otorohanga. Euston Club (Sandringham). Reg. Powley, 12, Euston Road, Sandringham. "Star Twinkles" (Mount Eden). — Helen Sotham, 45, Bellevue Road, C.3. Karaka Club (Takapuna).—Maxine Dunne, 6, Beacholme Road. Friendly Club (Pt. Chevalier). — Joyce Walker, 35, Meola Road. Knitting Circle (Heme Bay).—Joan Fahey, 10, Curran Street, Heme Bay. Rainbow Circle (Mount Albert). — Edith Smith, 713, New North Road. Hoheria Club (Mount Albert). — Verona Sowden, 1 9, Monoghan Avenue. Busy Brownies (Birkenhead).—Joan Klingender, Glenfield Road, Birkenhead. Mystery Girl Guides.—Lily Cannell, 95, Summer Street. Sunshine Club (Mount Eden). — Nancye Horspool, 214, Great North Road. Elves (outpost). — Phyllis Beck, Waihi. Glee Club (Grey Lynn).—Genivieve Arnold, 120, Williamson Avenue. Two alterations in captains previously chosen are announced. Joan Klingender is no longer captain of the Green Gables Club at Birkenhead, but instead is captain of a small club of her own, "The Busy Brownies." Likewise Nancy Aldired has resigned from the captaincy of the Pixie Club (Epsom) on account of lack of time for club activities.
