FARMHOUSE BURNED.
BLAZE AT KIRIKOFUNI. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DARGAVILLE, Friday. An eight-roomed farm residence at Kirikopuni was totally destroyed by fire early this morning. The house was owned and occupied by Mr. Mrsicli, a farmer, who, with his wife, was absent in Auckland. . Mr. Bert Beed, who was in charge, lit a fire to make a cup of tea. About 4.40 a.m. he left the house to get the cows. Half an hour later he discovered the building in flames and was unable to save anything. It is understood that the house was insured for £040 and that the furniture was also covered.
