END OF SESSION.
ADJOURNMENT IN OCTOBER. i COMMENT BY MR. SAVAGE. (By Telegraph.—Prebs Association.) WELLINGTON, Friday. In outlining the Government's intentions for the second part of the session, the Prime Minister, the Right Hon. M. J. Savage, said to-day that lie saw no reason why Parliament should jiot adjourn at the end of October. There were still a number of important matters to be dealt with, notably the mortgage legislation a.nd the presentation of"the Budget, but three months should be sufficient to see the end of the session. Next year the House would probably not meet until he returned from the Imperial Conference, probably some time in August.
