SERIOUSLY INJURED.
PEDESTRIAN STRUCK BY CAR.
Head injuries and a compound fracture of the left leg were suffered by Mr. John Patrick Miller, driver and labourer, of Waimauku, when he was knocked down by a motor car 011 the Oireat North Road near Huapai early 011 Saturday evening.
Mr. Miller at the. time-of the accident was walking along the road with a companion. The driver of the car was Mr. E. .T. Alexander, of Waimauku. Mr. Miller was admitted to the Auckland Hospital, where his condition to-day is described as very serious.
