Four of P. and O. "B" Ships toj Be Broken Up. CANADIAN LINE BOUGHT. LONDON, April 30. The steamers Balranald, Baradine, Barrabool and Bendigo have been sold to shipbreakers for £26,000 each. A syndicate comprising the Commonwealth and Dominion Line, the New Zealand Shipping Company and Ellerman and Bucknall lias purchased for £100,000 the remaining six vessels of the Canadian Government's merchant marine. Thomas, Colonial Secretary, delivered by wireless an address at the opening of the International Levant Fair at Tel-Aviv to-day. Speaking of the success of the fair two years ago, lie said that over 2000 exhibiting firms from 32 countries participated. "Naturally, the unhappy events of the last two weeks will cast a deep shadow upon this occasion," said the Minister, "but I am confident that these sad happenings will not prevent the fair from repeating and surpassing the remarkable success of two years ago."
