DANCE AND BRIDGE PARTY.

ST. JAMES' KINDERGARTEN.

A bridge and dance party organised by the committee members of the St. James' Free Kindergarten was lield in the Rialto Cabaret last evening for the purpose of raising funds. Rich autumn foliage adorned the ballroom and stands of palms and greenery were placed in the lounge, where bridge was played. The committee comprised: Mrs. A. Bavly (president). Lady Robertson. Mesdames Hugh Fenton, 1. Oliphant. H. W Airey, J. B. Macfarlane, J. J. Kingston, G.'P. Finlay, Eliot Davis, F. Herbert, G. O'Halloran. Key-Jones, J. Stanton, R. Sheath, J. F. M. Noakes, W. L. Wiseman, Miss Peacock, while the junior committee comprised: Misses Patricia Stanton, Ruth Whitley. D Boucher, I. Coote, B. Atkinson, M. Bailey, J. Bealo, Mavis Brown, B. Coe, Nancy Dawson, Mary Finlay, Elizabeth Frater, N. Haves, M. Jackson, G. Johnson, A. Jackson, E. Mappin, J. Milne, Eileen Isoakes and' Mary Somers.
