Smythe thanked V ladies for their splendid work She mentioned that no fewer than' 250 parcels, containing 980 garments, had been made up and <8 pair, of new shoes had been distributed. Airs Mcßride, m referring to the especial work of the r esi dc nt Mr -. Smvthe. and the secretary, Mrs Weaver, spoke of the great help the Ma yores., Mrs. Ferner. had been bv her practical work and attendance at the weekly meetings.
