BLUEBIRDS' PARTY.

Sixty pupils of the Newton West School were entertained recently by the Bluebird Dramatic Club. The afternoon passed quickly in races, competitions and items supplied by the Bluebirds. Santa Claus arrived and presented each child with a toy and a balloon off the tree. Tea was afterwards enjoyed. At the Conclusion of the afternoon presentations were made to Mr. Morris, school secretary and patron of the club. The room was beautifully decorated for the occasion in blue and white. A vote of thanks w„\s passed to the headmaster, Mr. J.ord, for his assi-tance and cooperate. i
