RIFLE SHOOTING.

AUCKLAND CITY CLUB. A practice shoot under service conditions was fired by the Auckland City Defence Kifle Club on Saturday, the practices being five shots application, five snap, ten rapid and ten at the snapshooting disc at 800 yards, followed by five application and five snap at .">OO yards. This is the series which will be fired at the next national meeting at Trentham. Conditions were good, but the scores were low on the average. With added handicaps spoons were won by F. Bowes and T.
