Craig (2.0), 63.08 4 Fastest time, R. Craig. WAIHI ROAD RACE. SCRATCH MAN THE WINNER. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, Saturday. The Waihi Cycle Club's road race over a course of sixteen miles resulted as follows: D. Kingsford (scr) 1, G. O'Neill (1.20) 2, G. Pennell (1.25) 3. The winner's time was 04.0, which was the fastest. THAMES CLUB. The road season of the Thames Cycling Club was successfully closed on Saturday with its annual Thames to Paeroa and return race, a distance of 42 miles. Conditions were good aud with the improved state of the rouvt was responsible for the lowering of the course record by 13.40 by S. West, who won the Andrew Cup l'or the fastest time, covering the distance in lh 48m 26 4-ss. The winner of the race received the Ensor Cup. Result:—K. Green (15.0), 1; G. Barker (7.0), 2; L. Franisli (5.0), 3. Green won easily by 3.0 ahead of Barker. West gained considerable ground over the last stage, crossing the line only 20s later. The Fisher Shield for the rider gaining the most poiuts throughout the season went to S. West and S. Jones, each rider gaining 54 points. R. C. Burr was close up with 52 points. BEACH HAVEN CLUB. At the annual meeting of the Beach Haven Amateur Cycle Club the following officers were elected: Patron, Mr. Mills; president, Mr. Dielil; vice-presidents, Messrs. Elia; vice-captain, J. Morris; Press steward, Mrs. Dielil.
