(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) DUNEDIN, Saturday. The Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has decided to accept the terms of the Now Zealand Council in regard to Otago's proposal for n tour of Victorian athletes over the Christmas holidays, and negotiations are to be proceeded with immediately. No time will lie wasted in forwarding invitations to Yates, Woodhouse and Backhouse, the three athletes who are to be invited to tour Otago. VAUXHALL SCHOOL RUN. The Vauxhall School cross-country run was held on Saturday on the Takapuna racecourse under ideal weather conditions. There was a good attendance of parents, teachers and children. Results: — Harrier Cup, 1 1-8 miles (this cup has been in existence for 10 years) : Trevor Titchencr 1, P. Wadhain 2, L. Gully 3. L. Gully equalled the course record (0.23), which was made by R. Bearsley in 1933. Kolin Cup: Arawa 1, Tamaroa 2, Ngapuhi 3. School Cup: P. Wadham 1. Junior Crosscountry race, half-mile: H: Ferret 1, L. Williams 2, J. Rykcrs 3.
OLD GRAMMARIANS. The 01(1 Grammarians' Amateur Athletic Club will hold the first of its weekly evening meetings at the Auckland Grammar School to-morrow at 5.1~> p.m. All members and intending members are urged to attend. The following events will be held: 75 yards. 300 yards and putting the shot. Handicaps will be declared on the ground. GALA DAY AT THAMES. The Rugby Union, Athletic Club and Cycling Club helil a combined sports programme at Rhodes Tark oil Saturday afternoon in support of the sports and native queen, Miss Stirling, in connection with the fire brigade queen carnival. In tlie football events Old-time Representatives defeated tlie present representatives by <! points to 5, and in the girls' Rugby match —Hul JFai v.
