; NORTHCOTE METHODISTS. SUNDAY SCHOOL SERVICES. Tho celebrations in connection with the anniversary of the Northcote Methodist Sunday School were commenced yesterday with special services, which were largely attended. The morning, afternoon and evening gatherings were respectively conducted by the Revs. S. J. Werren, E. T. Olds anil P. N. Knight. A feature of the services was the singing of the children conducted by Mr. A. F. Sharpe, solos, part songs and choruses being rendered. PAPAKTTRA ANGLICANS. CONG R ICG AT lON A L SOCIAL. The congregational social of the parishioners of Christ Church, Papakura, which included the Drury and Karaka parishioners, held in the Parish Hall, Papakura, was a great success. The iarge attendance was a tribute to the palish women's association, who organised the function. The vicar, Bev. W. C. Wood, presided and expressed the hope that the gathering would be the forerunner \>i many more. Musical and olooii'ionmy items were given by Misses J. William-, M Clnrke, Kirkbride (Papatoetoe), J. Wilks, Master R. Wilks and T. C. A jolly little dance concluded a verj pleasant evening. Mrs. Ore in wood (Karaka) played the dance music.
