Tlio recently appointed matron of the Wailii Hospital, Mrs. Paddock, of Parliell, Auckland, lias eoinmenced duties at tlie institution. Dr. A. Jenkins, of Pukemiro, lias accepted the position of medical superintendent vice Dr. L. K. Hetlierington, who resigned. Dr. Jenkins visited Wailii yesterday, and will take up his duties towards the end of next month.
