ATHENIAN CLUB.
"A NIGHT IN AUSTRALIA." The last official social evening of the Athenian Club was lield in the Amateur Operatic Society's hall on Saturday evening, when Mr. Percy Dawes acted as host. The main feature of the evening was "A Night in Australia," for which the stage was appropriately decorated. The programme included a vocal duet by Mists Winnie Hill and Miss Beryl Smith, vocal numbers by Miss Pat McLeod and Mr. L. Russell, a novelty skctcli by Mr. Harris with flute obligato by Mr. Frank Poore, a humorous sketch by Miss Noni Wright and Mr. Jack Parsons, bird and animal impersonations by Mr. Purdie, and a humorous sketch by Mr. and Mrs. Stan Asquitli.
