A motor cyclist, Mr. -Tollu Stewart, of Normandalc, was killed on the Hutt Road at 8 o'clock this morning as the result of a collision with a taxi. It is stated that he was riding his motor cycle on the correct side of the road when,-for some unexplained reason, he turned in the taxi's direction and collided with it head-on, receiving bend injuries, two fractures to one leg and a fractured arm. A fair amount of damage was done to the taxi.
