CONTRACT BRIDGE.
PASCOE CUP LEADERS. The seventh round of tfie Pascoe Cup competition for contract bridge in duplicate was held in the rooms of the Auckland Bridge Club this week, 24 pairs competing. The winners were: Northsouth,* Dr. Moir and Dr. Friedlander (runners-up, Sirs. Pritchard and Mr. Cavendish); east-west, Mrs. Shroff and Mr. Hosking (runners-up, Mrs. Clegliorn and Miss Somervell). , , , , Onlv two more rounds are to be played and the position of the leading teams is now as follows: Mrs. Pritchard and Mr. Cavendish, 57.49 per cent; Mrs. Shroff and Mr. Hosking. 55.02 per cent; Dr. Moir and Dr. Friedlander, 54.59 per cent.
