AWARD TO WOMAN TEACHER.

A Life-Saving Society's associate certificate and badge ivas presented to-day to Miss B. M. Campbell, a mistress of the Hamilton High School, in recognition of her work in promoting and training lifesaving classes at the schools. The presentation was made by Mr. A. H. Bouldistrict representative of the society, who said that Mr. J. C. Fishenden, of London, vice-president of the society, had stated that the life-saving demonstration given bv High School pupils under Miss Campbell's direction had been among the best he had seen in New Zealand.
