THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.
The Thames Girls' Club held the last dance before the annual meeting 1 on Wednesday evening in the Druids' Hall, North. Street, Newton, when Mrs. Hubber, the president, received the guests. Mrs. A. Bowyer, tlie vicepresident, was also in attendance. Committee members present were: Miss Jessie Aitken, treasurer; Mrs. W. S. Miller, secretary; Mrs. H. Hubber, convener; Mesdame3 Andrews, Wright, Nicholls, W. G. Aitken, McPherson, R. Benjamin and Misses C. Gillespie and K. Rowlings. Other guests were: Mesdames Hood, Johnston, Gibson, Hitchens, Smith, Broberg, "Crocker, F. Pearson, Amy, A. G. Aitken, Thomson, Sowden, Stokes, Stoodley, Cowie, Lucas, Cuttler, K. Dee, M. Loudon, Sage, Moros, Boyd, Hunter, Green, T. P. O'Flaherty. and Misses R. Gribble, Tui Cunningham, ,M. Slevin, [ Gammon, F. Norr'is, M. Norris, A. Andrews, B. Wilson, Mara rna Hub Iter, J. Smith, P. Prizes were won by Mrs. Lucas, Mrs. Boyd, Miss Hunter and Miss Clark and their partners.
