THAMES GIRLS' CLUB.

The Thames Girls' Club held the last dance before the annual meeting 1 on Wednesday evening in the Druids' Hall, North. Street, Newton, when Mrs. Hubber, the president, received the guests. Mrs. A. Bowyer, tlie vicepresident, was also in attendance. Committee members present were: Miss Jessie Aitken, treasurer; Mrs. W. S. Miller, secretary; Mrs. H. Hubber, convener; Mesdame3 Andrews, Wright, Nicholls, W. G. Aitken, McPherson, R. Benjamin and Misses C. Gillespie and K. Rowlings.
