FORESTERS' BALL.

ANNIVERSARY FUNCTION,

The thirty-first anniversary of Court Edith Cavell, Ancient Order of Foresters, was celebrated by a dance held in' the Foresters' Hall, Oneliunga, on Thursday. The. hall was artistically decorated in the lodge colours of red and green streamers, with splendid lighting effects. Excellent dance music was rendered by the Excelsior Dance Orchestra under the direction of Miss Myra Rae, who wore rose pink pebble crepe. Sister M. Partridge, chief ranger, received the guests wearing a gown of shell pink ring velvet with diamante girdle. Several district officers and a large representation of members from all other courts were present. Brother W. J. Jordan, M.P., also attended. Sister Darlow', the district secretary, wore wine craquelle. Mr. H. Siebert played an extra polonaise which was much appreciated. Among those present were: Sisters D. Phillips, Milligan, P.
