GOLF CLUB BALL.

TITIRANGI CLUB'S FUNCTION,

Decorated with masses of green foliage which were placed at the side of each cubicle, and with bright bowls of rhododendrons, the Peter Pan Cabaret presented an attractive appearance last evening, when the president and executive of the Titirangi' Golf Club held a successful annual ball. There was a good attendance, and from the very beginning things went with a swing. The music provided by the Peter Pan Orchestra was excellent, and a new number entitled "About a Quarter to Nine" was enthusiastically received by the dancers. Slim vases, containing golden and yellow spring flowers, made the supper room gay. The president, Mr. R. F. Ward, and Mrs. Ward received the guests, the latter wearing a frock of black grosgrin, with a green sprigged pattern. The lady members of the committee present were: Mrs. J. C. Finlay, who wore a frock of egg-shell suede, with self pattern; Mrs. G. M. White, black georgette and lace; Mrs. M. H. Sliroff, claret-coloured chiffon velvet; Mrs. G.
