PERFUMES FOR FURS.
FASHION'S NEW CRAZE. (Special.—By Air Mail.) LONDON, September 7. The most luxurious smell yet achieved is coming into the world of fashion this autumn. It is that of perfumes specially blended to go with furs; and it conies from Paris. "The usual floral bases of perfumes are changed and spoiled by contact with the natural smell of furs," a leading Paris perfumer explained. "Perfumes are therefore being blended with a special new base, which harmonises with the natural smell of furs. This ensures that the perfume retails its fragrance." Each type of fur has its complementary perrume, bearing its name, and so blended that the fragrance has a basis in perfect sympathy ■vith that "f the fur.
