FINE JERSEY HERD.
ENGLISH PRIZE AWARDS,
No fewer than 173 awards have been gained in the past two seasons in important agricultural ehows in England by the Jersey herd from the "Ovaltine" dairy farm. At the 1935 Royal Show in Newcastle entries from the farm took 11 awards, which included the Conyngham Challenge Cup, given for the highest aggregate number of points in the Jersey classes. This cup has now been won for the third year in succession. At the Essex county show at Halford 12 more prizes were won, and still more were taken at the 1935 Hertfordshire show at Hatfield. Already during the present season the entries from the farm in the leading ehows have gained no fewer than 74 awards. This brings the total of successes since 1933 to 247, a line achievement.
