INJURIES TO HEAD.
FALL FROM BICYCLE.
Falling from his bicycle at Pukekohe last night, a farm hand, Bassett Haig Carter, aged 19, who is employed by Mr. A. J. Harris, of Pukekohe East, suffered injuries to his head. He was taken to the Auckland Hoepital, and his condition was reported this afternoon to be not serious. Fracture of a Thigh. A fracture of the left thigh was received by Mrs. Elenora Willis, aged SO, of 7, Edenvale Road, Mount Eden, when she slipped in the act, of going to sit on a chair at her home yesterday. She was taken to the hospital in a St. John ambulance. Knocked Down by Car. Head injuries were suffered by Trevor. Arthur Fry, aged 17, of 17, M.inawa Road, Remuera, when he was knocked down by a car just before nine o'clock this morning. The lad, who is, an electrician's apprentice, was admitted to the Auckland Hospital. His condition is regarded as fairly serious.
