ACCIDENTALLY SHOT.
YOUTH'S TRAGIC DEATH. DISCOVERY ON "SANDHILLS. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) MARTON, this day. An inquest was held at Turakina into the death of Max Ernest Carter, aged 18, found dead near a fence with -a bullet wound in the heart and a rifle alongside. The discovery was made among the sandhills at Turakina Beach on Sunday evening. Evidence was given that the youth went to the beach for the week-end, and was out shooting rabbits. He was in irood spirits on Sunday afternoon, and when he failed to return a search was made which Je<l to the finding of the body. The district coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
