BAKEHOUSE FIRE
The Mount Albert and Mount Eden brigades turned out at 8.43 a.m. to-day in response to an outbreak of fire in the bakehouse of Mr. W. Bingley, Ethel Street, Sandringham. A spark from the oven had set alight the mixing table. Stock and a window were damaged to the estimated extent of £15. The bakehouse is situated in a brick two-storev building with iron roof. There was no insurance on the contents. The brigades did not use their own equipment, the fire being put out with a garden liosc.
