PERSONAL.
Mr. P. R. Ilarnmn, secretary of the South Island Motor Union for the past 15 year?, has resigned. Mr. Harvey Turner left for Wellington by the Limited last night. He expects to return to-morrow. Mr. F. Baumont Smith, managing director of .T. C. Williamson Picture Corporation (N.Z.),. Ltd., is at the Grand Hotel. Mr. F. Knight, clerk of the Magistrate's Court in Wellington, has been transferred to a similar position In Auckland, where he will begin duty next week. Lieutenant-Commissioner F. 11. Adams, commander of the Salvation Army in New Zealand, and Colonel A. Orsborn, chief secretary, left for Wellington by the Limited, last night. Captain W. Murphy, M.C., N.Z.S.C., adjutant to the Canterbury Regiment, lias been transferred to Auckland, where he its expected to take up duty early next month.
