CANVASS RESULT.
POWER FOR THAMES COAST. (f'y Telegraph.— Own Correspondent.) THAMES, Friday. Tn reply to a request to the Thames Chamber of Commerce to have electric power mains extended to Thames coast settlements, it was stated at a meeting of the Thames Valley Power Board that three canvasses of coastal areas had been made, and the result indicated a deficiency of £110 per annum should a line be erected.
Mr. J. McCormick .suggested that another canvass be made, and the board agreed that its oflieers should give the chamber every assistance and attend meetings if necessary.
