Three candidates arc offering them-. selves for election to the vacancy on the North Auckland Land Bon r<l caused by the expiration of the term of office of \lr. Vivian Troiinson. Nominations'! closed,oil Thursday. Mr. Trounsoii is seeking re-election, while the other two candidates are Mr. J. 11. Stuliba and j Mr. A. P. Smith. Voting will be by postal ballot, closing on April 11. Votes' will be counted the following day, when the result will probably be announced.'
