TAKAPUNA GRAMMAR.
EX-PUPILS' ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Takapuna Grammar School Ex-Pupils' Association was held in St. Michael's Hall, Belmont, last night. Mr. A. W. Short presided. A credit balance of over £60 was shown in the balance-sheet. Plans have been made for a Rugby football team and a girls' basketball team to visit Rotorua for the annual tournament with the Rotorua High School Ks-Pupils' Association. Arrangements are being made to enter a girls' basketball team in association games during the coming season. The following oih'cers were elected:— Patron, Mr. C. M. Littlejolm; president, Mr. A. W. Short; vice-presidente, Mioses H. Schmidt and M. Grimshaw and Messrs. R. Eade, S. Sale; joint eecretaries, Miss J. Kay and Mr. Rees-George; treasurer, Mr. C. Mortimer; hon. auditor, Mr. S. Hovey; committee, Misses K. O'Brien, R. Haden and E. Corner, MessiJ. W. Lcggatt, K. Douglas and J. B. Stevenson; social committee, Misses M. Deighton. M. Bartnim, G. Foote, B. Haden, Messrs. E. O'Brien, D. Lahore, J. Morrison, U. Nicholson and D. Stevenson. s After the meeting a dance vae held.
