Fox (10 not out) were the other main contributors to the ultimate total of 123, at which the Innings was declared closed with six wickets down. \V. &I. Wallace and H. S. Burton took two wickets apiece, and T. A. Roberts and \V. Brook Smith one each. Mervyn Wallace (53, retired), Percy Shaw (24) and Le.s. Duncan (24, retired) made between them 101 of the total of 125 obtained for the loss of five wickets, plus two retired, by the visitors, who thus won by two runs. Pleydell obtained two wickets, and Rose and Bones one each. Kain fell almost continuously throughout the game.
