TYPOGRAPHICAL UNION.
TWO PRESENTATIONS. . - i The Auckland Typographical Industrial Union of Workers hold it* annual mooting on Saturday night. Mr. W. A. Groves presiding. In appreciation of his services during liis term of office, Mr. Groves was presented with a, gold medallion by the vice-president, IM r. C. S. Geen. The retiring secretai't-, Mr. F. A. Cleveland, was presented with a roll of notes by Mr. Groves, v.-ho said that Mr. Cleveland had served the union for 42 years, wliieli was thought to bn a Dominion record. After lie had reviewed the activities of the union since he first joined over 00 years ago, Mr. Cleveland was elected an honorary lifo member. The following officers were elected for the ensuing year: President, Mr. W. A. droves; vice-president, Mr. CV S. Geen; secretary-treasurer, Mr. G. Brotherton; trustees', Messrs. \V .K. Edens and A. E. V. Eadford; auditors, Messrs. F. ('.. Otter and A. North; representatives on apprenticeship committee, Messrs. Groves, Geen and Brotherton; representative to federation executive, Mr. Groves.
