AUCKLAND GUN CLUB,
The Auckland Gun Club held its championship clay-bird shoot at Pakuranga on Saturday afternoon. Results : — Seven-bird .Eye-opener, Hweepatnke.—L. Ramsay, 10yds, C. JS. Hudson, 10yds, C. Bovill, 11yds. C. Sedtlon, 20yds, H. HanniItiin, 13ydn, 1). Kwing, 10yds, each scored the possible and divided (he sweepstake. Championship Mutch, 21 birds, off IS yards. —L. Kainsny shot the possible and won the match outright. C. E. Hodge was runner-up with a lolal of 20 birds. Three others shot 11) birds. Trophy. Match for the Club Captain's Penant, l(r birds, all off 23yds. —The first barrel performance, was won by £3. J. Donnelly, with a total of nine birds, C. Bovill und F. Seccorabe were runners-up, with a total of eight birds each. Ten-bird Double Klee Sweepstake.—C. Seddon and L. Ramsay each shot the possible and divided first and second money. C. Hodge shot eight birds and took third money. Gimcrack Sweepstake, 10 birds match. — This match was divided by 11. Hannigan, 11 to 10yds, arid L. Ramsay, 15 to 24yds, each shooting the possible. Three others shot nine birds each.
