TROJAN STAR.

IMPROVED ACCOMMODATION. CAPTAIN'S LUXURIOUS QUARTERS. The Blue Star Line freighter Trojan Star arrived at Auckland this morning. Since she left Auckland on May S numerous alterations to the ship have been carried out, notably in' connection with the passenger accommodation and the captain's quarters. The Trojan Star can now boast what is probably the most elaborate accommodation for her master of any vessel that has ever entered this port. His rooms run almost the whole width of the bridge deck; they are large and airy, well ventilated, and excellently, furnished, and are without doubt some of the best-appointed rooms that have ever graced a ehip. Extensive structural alterations were required in order to place the captain's quarters where they are, and two large gravity water tanks are now situated on the roof above his cabin.

The Trojan Star's cabins—for the maximum of 12 passengers she ie permitted to carry each trip —have also been modernised.

It is stated that the vessel's new turbines have increased her speed by two knots, and it.is expected that her homeward journey from New Zealand this trip will be a "very fast one.
