The financial statement shows a credit of nearly £15 more than at the enci ot ? the previous season. The pro ft lor tlie season was £-4, expenditure being fll . receipts £309. The healthy financial position, together with tlie tact that Auckland is again the premier centre ol iNe>\ Zealand, its representatives having again won tlie Yaldhurst and War Memorial Shields at the New Zealand championship meetings, places the centre in an enviable position. Moreover, the last conterence or delegates, held in Christchurch, decided that the New Zealand championships tor should be held in Auckland.
