REP. SOCCER.

AUCKLAND FIXTURES. FIVE GAMES TO-MORROW. TARAXAKI V. SOUTH AUCKLAND. Ranging from primary school teams to the senior grade, there will be five representative matches played in Auckland tomorrow. Four of the five will be played on Blandford Park, starting at 11.30 and the other will take place on the Domain. At 11.30 a.m. the junior primary school reps, will meet the reps, from Huntly and at 12.30 the senior primary school players of the Huntly and Auckland competitions will play on the same ground. The latter match will make room for the curtain-raiser to the main game of the afternoon and will commence at 1.30 p.m. between the Auckland Ii reps., composed mostly of players who have taken part in secondary school football in their earlier days, and the reps, from Taranaki. There is no record of when the last Taranaki Soccer rep. team visited Auckland, and the game is being looked forward to with pleasant anticipation. The men from the Now Plymouth district are keen followers of the code, and it is stated that there arc several members in the team who have had a good deal of overseas experience. The Auckland side should find stiff opposition and a good game should result. The three o'clock match on Blandford Park will be between Auckland and South Auckland. The Waikato players generally set the local men a hard task and with the ground in excellent condition a fast encounter is assured.
