AOTEA CLUB OFFICERS,
The report in ml balance-sheet presented at the annual meeting of the Aotea Tennis Club showed a successful season. The following officers were elected : — President, Mr."B. £. Peglcr; vice-presidents. Messrs. A. T. Long, R. S. Michie, J. Lovegrove ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W, Clnrk; assistant-secretary. Miss Barrier; rhib captain, Mr. Jt. Barrier; vice-captain, Mr. P. Wells: committee. Misses F. Carson and J. Council, Messrs. W. McClyntock. G. Bull. R. Thompson, J. Gribble, B. Golding, K. Duncan. NORTH AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. WHANGAREI, Thursday. At the annual meeting of the. North Auckland. Lawn Tennis Association, the president, Mr. R. S. Finch, referred to the benefit to tennis of the visit during the season of the New South Wales Indies' tenm. He also mentioned that the association's annual Easter tournament was one of the most successful ever .held. The financial position of the association was auite sound. It wns decided to again hold the annual tournament at Easter. A sub-committee was appointed to confer with the Whangarei Lawn Tennis Club in an endeavour to have the erection of a spectators' stand on the club's property. The election of officers resulted as follows: —President, Mr. R. S. Finch: delegate to the New Zealand Lawn Tennis Association, Messrs. Rose and McGill (Wellington : secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. D. Keta 11; auditor, Mr. C. Waymouth. MORRINSVILLE SUB-ASSOCIATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) - MORRINSVILLE. this day. Tlie Morrinsville Tennis Sub-Association, which was formed nt the close of Inst season, is assured of the entry of throe teams from the, Morrinsville Club, three Troin the Mnngnt epnru Club, and one ench Troni the Tnuhei, Whitiknlm. Kiwitnhi and Tabiiron Clubs. Entries will not close until October. It is anticipated that n strong tenm will be' fielded by the sub-nssocintion in this season's matches for the Waikato banner. In previous sensons the Morrisville district lias been represented by the Morrihsville Club team only in matches with other sub-associations of the Waikato arid has consequently been nt a great disadvantage.
