TO-NIGHT'S TOWN HALL MATCH. At the Town Hall to-night a professional wrestling bout between Walter Browning, of New Zealand, and Dean Detton, of America, should attract a large attendance. In strength, skill and speed the two are well matched, and both are colourful wrestlers. A good programme of amateur events will precede the professional bout. WALKER BEATS FELICE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association,) NAPIER, this day. Walker defeated Felice in a wrestling match ending in the fourth round, when Felice was disqualified for using the strahgle-hold. Walker took a fall in the first round after elbow' jabs and a bodypress, and submitted in the third round to a Boston crab by Felice, MEYER DEFEATS DETTON. (By Telegraph.—rross Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. In a fiercely-wrestled contest here on Saturday night Meyer beat Detton by two falls to one. Meyer took the first fall ill I the second round with a hammerlock and Detton evened in the fifth with a bodypress, following a Series of flying tackles. In the sixth round Detton failed with a flying tackle and Meyer pounced on him as he fell to the mat, pinning his shoulders, for the deciding fall. The bout was the best seen in Duncdin this season. SONNENBERG BEATS MAMOS. SYDNEY, September 9, In a wrestling bout at the Sydney Stadium last evening Sonnenberg defeated Harry Mamos by one fall to none. The contest was very colourful. The refereo was frequently hooted and counted out. Sonnenberg in the sixth round was temporarily disabled when he fell through the ropes owing to missing a flying tackle. In tiie Leichliardt Stadium George Pencheff and Joe Dawson gained one fail each and the referee awarded a draw. In a bout at Brisbane Tommy Nilan . and Billy Meeske drerw \sjth one fall each.
