The A.A.A. and C.C. held a combined senior and junior race over a distance of 102 mik-s under very squally conditions. The roads were not conducive to fast pedalling, owing to their slushy nature. * The result of the 10J miles senior race was :—E, Tucker (2.45), 1; S. Windsor (.O.30), 2; C. Keefe (3.30), 3; U. King (2.15), 4. Fastest times: L. l'hillips (1.15), K. Moslieini (1.15), J. l'rice (1.45). BEACH HAVEN CLUB. The Beachaven Amateur Cycling Club held two time trials and a field handicap on Saturday. The results are:—, Juniors (8J miles): C. Hilder (4.1o), 30.55, 1; D. Bailey (1.45), 31.27, 2; Ik Tout (scr), 31.34, 3. Seniors (12J miles) : B. Evans (1.30), 39.0, 1; J. Morris (2.15), 39.20, ; b. Hilder (3.15), 39.27, 3. Bvuns also fastest time. LYNNDALE CLUB. Two races for seniors and juniors were held by the Lynndale Cycling Club on Saturday in squally weather. TAKAPUNA CLUB. Cold showers and heavy head winds made conditions very hard for riders in the 26mile race held on the lake circuit by the Takapuna Amateur Cycling Club for the Ilawes Cup. _ _ _ Result:—S.
