RECORDS BY U.S.A. ATHLETES. VANCOUVER, July 1. At Milwaukee, Bill Bontliron, of Princeton University, created a new world record for 1500 metres yesterday, liis time being 3.45. Glen Cunningham (Kansas)' was second. Jack Torrance, of the Louisiana State University, heaved a 101b shot 55 feet 5 inches, thus establishing a world record. Glen Hardin, Torrance's team-mate, broke the world record by running a 400mctre hurdle race in 51.S seconds.
