LONDON, June 30. The southern athletic mile championship at Guildford resulted as follows :—A. C. Reeve, 4.14 4-5. 1: S. S. Wooderson, 2: Lovelock (New Zealand). 3. Lovelock, who was beaten on •the tape for second position, was two yards behind the winner.
