CARD PARTY.
CATHOLIC WOMEN'S LEAGUE.
A most enjoyable and well attended card party for league funds was convened on Thursday evening by Mesdames M. J. Hackett, W. C. Keruble, N. Dunne and R. S. Harrop. Among the hostesses for the evening were:—Mesdames M. Pilling, O'Meara, Ranche, Foote, Thompson. H. Wright, Black, N. Snedden, Larsen, Cruickshank, Hanfling, McGinn. Gilbert, Everett, A. Snedden, B. Prendergast, Keady, Main, Misses Finnerty, McGee, P. Flynn, M. Hackett, R. Reilly and L. Drysdale. Prizes for bridge were won by Mrs. McGinn, Miss Cotter and Mr. Mahon. Mrs. Peok won the 500 prize.
