TAUPIRI DANCE.
A very successful dance was held in the Henry Soldier Settlement Hall, near Taupiri, on Thursday. Mrs. R. T. Hill's orchestra supplied the music, _ extras being played by Mrs. D. G. Smith and Miss L. Carter. Monte Carlo. waltzes were won by Mrs. D. G. Smith and her partner and Mrs. J. Troup and partner. Among the ladies present were: Mesdames V. Farrington, R. Hill, J. Madill, E. Brown, D. G. Smith, E. Tremain, Misses E. Gerrand, K. Smith, M. Catley, J, Henry, D. Dick, T. Houghton, E. Ivennett, J. Dempsey, G. Jones, M. Anderson, E. Jones, 11. Houghton, T. Bentley, M. Harvey, L. Carter, Davis, D. Clark.
