STEVE'S GREAT RACE.
Wins French Classic While on "Busman's Holiday." ENGLISH HORSE'S VICTORY. (Received 1 p.m.) LONDON, June 24. The "Daily Telegraph" Paris correspondent says that one of the greatest strokes of luck in his long career came to Stove Donoglnie to-day. He flew to Paris on a busman's holiday to see the Grand Prix. He had no mount and watched a couple of races from the stand. Then the owner and trainer of Admiral Drake, who had planned for an apprentice to ride the horse, besought Donoghue to take the mount. Stove rode a brilliant race and won the greatest race on the Continent on the horse which finished last in the English Derby.
