BENEFICIAL RAINS.
NEW SOUTH WALES FALL.
(Received 10 a.m.) SYDNEY, this day. Beneficial rains have fallen in most inland districts of New South Wales, which will greatly benefit the farmers, whose ploughing operations have been held up. The rain will also replenish the water .supplies. In some wheat-growing districts farmers have been waiting for weeks for rain to enable them to resow their crops, which have been eaten, by grasshoppers.
