JUNIOR MANAGEMENT, The junior management board of the Auckland Rugby Union decided last night to make inquiries among various unions for any dates available for junior representative fixtures. I Selectors. —Second grade, Messrs. E. Matthews, A. Craig; third grade, Messrs. J. Proud, J. Can-; intermediate grade, Messrs. C. Williams, W. Wardell. It was resolved to advise the North Shore Club that one of its players, who was ordered oft' last Saturday week, had not yet appeared before the committee and that his suspension would stand until he docs so. Transfers approved:—H. Blomfield, Technical Old Boys to Eden; H. Paul, Grafton to Technical Old Roys. SOUTH AUCKLAND KEFEREES. The South Auckland Referees' Association met at Papakura. last evening for their monthly meeting. They meet once in each of the six centres during the season for the purpose of meeting players and officials. Mr. 11. Plcytlell, the president, was in the chair and referees were present from Pukekohe, Pokono. Tuakau, Waiuku and Manukau, together with a good number of Manukau players. The lecturer for the evening was Mr. A. Freeman, of Waiuku, and the subject was "Obstructions and Their Penalties." A keen discussion took place and many points were made clear to the players. Remits from the New Zealand Referees' Association were treated as questions, which the referees endeavoured to answer. During the supper time Mr. 11. C. Baulf thanked the association for coming to Papakura, remarking that more meetings between the referees and players off the football field tendered to engender a better spirit and ennble the players to get to know the line points of Rugby.
